摘要
Simulations based on the mathematical model outlined in Part 1 were used to study the dependence of the sensitivity of detection and sample throughput on the main flow system (geometrical dimensions) and biocatalytic layer (thickness, enzyme activity, buffer capacity, and initial substrate i.e., analyte concentration) parameters and on the flow-rate. The results obtained give important guidelines for the preparation of sensitive and rapidly responding single-layer flow-through biocatalytic electrodes with the optimum design with respect to the amount of enzyme used.
