摘要
Halato-telechelic polymers (HTP) are model ionomers consisting of a non-polar chain at each end of which one ionic group is attached. As a result of synthesis by living anionic polymerization and neutralization by metal acetates or alcoholates under controlled conditions, the properties of these polymers can be controlled. This paper presents and discusses the results of SANS measurements on HTP, investigating the effects of changing the functional groups (carboxylate and sulphonate) and varying the molecular weight of the single chains. Also compared is the scattering results with the viscosity data on some of the samples.
