A CHEMICAL METHOD FOR PREPARATION OF METAL SULFIDE THIN-FILMS

摘要
Metal chalcogenide thin films of group II-VI, I-VI, IV-VI, V-VI, I-III-VI etc. have been prepared by chemical deposition methods and have been employed for photovoltaic, photothermal, photoconductivity etc. applications. All such films have been prepared from an alkaline medium only. In this communication, for the first time, we report on the preparation of metal sulfide films from an acidic medium using Na2S2O3 as a sulphur source. Thin films of groups I-VI, II-VI, IV-VI and V-VI have been prepared and electrical, structural and optical characterizations have been carried out.
