摘要
The viscoelasticity and apparent viscosity/shear rate data for some concentrated dispersions of sterically stabilized polymethyl methacrylate particles in paraffin hydrocarbon media are presented. The influence of temperature, particle size and medium viscosity are studied. Measurements of viscoelasticity were made with a controlled stress amplitude, parallel plate instrument, operating in a low frequency range (0. 1-20 rad s** minus **1). The results are explained in terms of particle ordering rearrangements which are stress and frequency dependent.
