摘要
Microendoscopic discectomy (MED) is a minimally invasive procedure for surgically treating lumbar disc herniation. The MED techniques could be applied to decompression procedures for lumbar spinal stenosis. Microendoscopic laminotomy is a bilateral decompression of the spinal canal by unilateral approach using the MED techniques. The author presents microendoscopic decompression techniques to preserve the posterior structures of the lumbar spine as much as possible.
