FLUX MOTION BY QUANTUM TUNNELING

摘要
Experimental evidence is presented showing that at millikelvin temperatures flux creep in the organic superconductor (BEDT-TTF)2 Cu(NCS)2 and in the high-T(c) superconductor Y1Ba2Cu4O8 involves mainly quantum tunneling of vortices. The measured tunneling rates at T --> 0 are in very good agreement with values given by the quantum collective creep theory.
