摘要
The paper shows the possibilities and limitations of experimental and theoretical methods of non-isothermal reaction kinetics applied to the investigation of the interaction of coal structure and pyrolysis behaviour, including the interpretation and application of results on relevant organic substances of well-defined structure. Reference is made to work previously published. After a short introduction to the non-isothermal pyrolysis technique, the main fundamental results as well as the main findings on reactions and mechanisms are presented. The status of the theoretical approach describing the kinetics of pyrolysis and the potential of the subject introduced in the paper are then discussed. Finally an attempt is made to identify single reactions in coal pyrolysis by comparison with model substances.
