摘要
:
Dimensionally stable Li-alloy composite electrodes for rechargeable organic electrolyte batteries were made up by compression of a mixture of small particle size Cu- and β-LiAl-powders. SEM studies demonstrate that the reinforcing Cu framework is able to sustain the stresses due to the volume changes of the active LiAl component. The electrochemical polarization behavior of these composite electrodes is only slightly poorer than that of pure β-LiAl. © 1990.
