COMMUNITY NOISE IN DIFFERENT SEASONS IN KUOPIO, FINLAND

摘要
A year-long study of the noise environment in the city of Kuopio, Finland was made to assess noise sources in an urban community in different seasons. A total of 7581 h of continuous noise data was collected. L(eq,l h), and L(max) and L(AE) for the noise events were measured with the aid of a computer. The noise sources for 18000 intrusive events were identified using tape recordings. This information was used to investigate the time patterns of the noise levels during different seasons and to study the importance of different noise sources. A large proportion of intrusive noise events in Kuopio did not have traffic sources and there were differences in noise levels and intrusive noise sources in different seasons.
