A NONLINEAR WEAKLY SINGULAR VOLTERRA INTEGRODIFFERENTIAL EQUATION ARISING FROM A REACTION-DIFFUSION STUDY IN A SMALL-CELL

摘要
A simple product integration scheme is proposed to solve a nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equation with a weakly singular kernel and a non-smooth solution. A discrete Gronwall inequality is derived and then employed to prove convergence of the numerical method. Numerical results are given which support the theoretical results.
