ANALYSIS OF LASER-INDUCED THERMAL-DESORPTION EXPERIMENTS VIA COMPUTER-SIMULATION

摘要
This work presents an analysis of the surface diffusion coefficient in a system with interacting adsorbate species. The analysis is based upon a Monte Carlo simulation which reproduces the laser-induced thermal desorption (LITD) experiment. Analysis of the simulation shows a coverage dependence which is not adequately considered in normal diffusion estimation procedures. A proposed function is examined which accounts for the coverage dependence and gives an excellent fit to the simulation data. © 1990.
