摘要
Recent theoretical work has been devoted to investigating the way in which the breakup of neutron-rich nuclei such as Li-11 should affect the probabilities for fusion at energies close to the Coulomb barrier. We critically analyze the role of this channel in the tunneling process and show how one can come to conclusions that differ radically from the ones presented so far in the literature. -
