摘要
Fe(O) microclusters have been isolated in a zeolite matrix. The magnetization isotherm at 4. 2 K has been analyzed in terms of a sum of Brillouin functions corresponding to a distribution of cluster sizes. Each function represented a fraction of individual clusters with total cluster spin quantum number (N multiplied by (times) S). The (N multiplied by (times) S)-value of clusters with an average of 7 atoms per cluster was found to be 4.
