摘要
A key illustrated with 70 line drawings has been prepared for the genera of chalcidoid wasps associated with fruit of Ficus species of the Americas, including those introduced as ornamental trees from Asia and elsewhere. The wasps belong mainly to Agaonidae, both pollinators and non-pollinators, 2 genera to Torymidae, 3 to Pteromalidae and 1 to Eurytomidae. Only 2 genera of native pollinating Agaoninae are recognized, 3 other genera are of exotic origin. In Agaonidae subfamily Sycophaginae Anidarnes is described as a new genus, 2 new genera in Pteromalidae, Podivna and Hansonita. New species include Walkerella microcarpae (certainly introduced), Aepocerus nadelae and Heterandrium rasplusi of Otitesellinae found mainly in Florida, and Anidarnes brevicauda and Idarnes hansoni of Sycophaginae, from Costa Rica. In Torymidae Physothorax percaudatus is described as a new species from Costa Rica, in Pteromalidae two new genera and species, Podivna euderoides and Hansonita pertusae, both from Ficus pertusa from Costa Rica. In each genus the recognized species, named and unnamed are commented on, including their host relations. In Heterandrium, Critogaster, Anidarnes (all Agaonidae) and Physothorax (Torymidae) tentative keys to species are presented. Possible identity of the enigmatic Paphagus Walker is discussed; it is excluded from fig wasps.
