摘要
The experimental values of the strength and ductility of two-phase materials based on nickel, iron, tungsten, chromium, molybdenum or titanium carbide and produced by different methods depend on the volume fraction of the secondary phase and structural parameters. In two-phase materials with a random distribution of secondary-phase particles, the maximum values of the ductility occur, independently of the matrix properties, when the mean free distance between particles is equal to the mean grain size of the matrix. In the present paper the results of the recent studies of this phenomenon are summarized.
