QUASI-PARTICLE CONDUCTIVITY IN THE T-J MODEL

摘要
The quasiparticle contribution to the dc conductivity in the t-J model is discussed. The starting point is an ansatz for the wave function of the low-lying eigenstates of the system with one hole. It is found that the behavior of the stiffness constant D under a change of t/J is opposite to that of the bandwidth, in contrast to what would be expected for a Fermi liquid but in agreement with the results of exact diagonalizations. A simple "string picture" yields a natural explanation for this.
