摘要
For the case of distinct maximum singular values, the major principal direction-alignment property enables the assessment of the stability margins of systems with scalar-block-structured perturbations. The principal direction alignment is shown to hold generally, and thus dictates necessary and sufficient stability conditions for systems with any number of perturbation blocks of arbitrary dimensions.
