摘要
Synthetic, cubic faujasite, and the hexagonal polytype of faujasite were synthesized according to the procedures of Delprato et al. (Zeolites for the Nineties-Recent Research Reports, 8th International Zeolite Conference, Amsterdam, 1989). Si-29, Al-27 n.m.r. and unit cell dimensions are consistent with the bulk SiO2/Al2O3 ratio, which is 6.8 for both zeolites. Adsorption properties of the hexagonal polytype are within experimental error of those obtained from cubic faujasite. The acid forms of the cubic and hexagonal polytypes of faujasite both show hydroxyl group stretching frequencies at 3630 cm-1.
