摘要
The magnetic moments and spin-polarization energies of 3d impurities adjacent to vacancies in Cu are calculated by use of the impurity KKR-Green's function method. The present calculations elucidate the micromechanism of magnetic energy anomalies in the observed cohesive and surface energies of 3d metals.
