Pressure-drop measurements were made in an ice-water slurry flowing in a 102. 3 mm diameter horizontal pipe. The ice fraction range of the experiments was 0 to 15%. The slurry was found to be drag reducing in all cases, and a correlating parameters is presented for application in the plug flow regime which was reached at ice fractions above 8 to 10%.
