摘要
Bacterial reduction of hexavalent chromium (chromate: CrO42-) was investigated using fed-batch cultures of Enterobacter cloacae strain HOl. In the fed-batch cultures, toxic CrO42- was continuously added in small doses to minimize the toxic effect. The fed-batch process was proved to be an effective biological method for detoxifying CrO42- in aqueous solutions. © 1990.
