摘要
The ethylene polymerisation activity of [(Ind)2TiMe]BPh4 decreases with decreasing solvent polarity but is enhanced if BPh4- is replaced by the less basic anion [B{C6H3(CF3)2}4]-. The reaction of [PhNHMe2]BPh4 with Cp2*TiMe2 gives [Cp2*TiMe]BPh4, the first isolable 14-electron titanium alkyl cation complex (Ind = indenyl, Cp* = C5Me5).
