摘要
Vanadium and niobium films (30 to 100 nm) are coated with a palladium thin film (less than 5 nm) and then submitted to several hydrogenation cycles. The films were evaporated by electron beam bombardment in high vacuum. The Pd coverage maintains the reactivity of the V and Nb films. The hydrogen pressure is varied from 0 to 50 Torr. Results are presented for the electrical resistance and the Hall coefficient as a function of hydrogen pressure. The V films show thickness dependence in their resistance change and a small decrease in the Hall coefficient.
