摘要
The finite element package ABAQUS is used to investigate the response of metallic (aluminium and steel) beam grillages to impact loading. Modelling is based on linear elastic materials with non-linear isotropic work hardening characteristics including strain rate dependency for the steel. Two different types of model are considered, one using space beam and the other three-dimensional solid elements. Comparison of the computed values with experimental results (N. JONEs et al., Int. J. Impact Engng 11, 379-399 (1991)) is very encouraging.
