摘要
Media-stimulated call-in polls have been criticized for exploiting the credibility of scientific polling. In this empirical study, demographic and lifestyle biases from diffusion theory are examined in conjunction with call-in polling, along with the potential for rigging by organized blocks of ''voters.''
