摘要
Nanostructured FeCo powders were synthesized by high energy milling, starting from Fe and Co powders in various structural states. The alloy formation is studied by X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectroscopy. The final grain size is shown to be less than 10 nm. Results are compared to those obtained on nanocrystalline FeCo thin films prepared by electron-gun technique under ultra-high vacuum conditions. The consolidation behavior of ''as received'' and mechanically alloyed powders is also reported.
