AMS MEASUREMENTS AT THE MUNICH TANDEM WITH A TIME-OF-FLIGHT SETUP

摘要
A setup is described for AMS experiments with a time-of-flight measurement. Special features are a Wien filter after the accelerator, a stabilization system for the accelerator voltage using a weak parasitic beam of different magnetic rigidity, timing detectors with microchannel plates and various energy loss and residual energy detectors. The setup has been used for concentration measurements of I-129, Sr-90 and Fe-55. In addition, A = 20 and A = 5 ions have been searched for to test the Pauli exclusion principle.
