摘要
This article describes treatment of a case of obsessive/compulsive functioning. A family therapy-informed approach was used to treat the client. The nature and rationale of the clinical treatment is discussed. Several key points of the same case are then explored from the perspective of object relations thinking. The authors discuss their clinical thinking and the theories that inform it with the goal of delineating points of commonality and difference in clinical assessment and approach.
