摘要：

XUSTROSTOMA margarettae gen. et sp. nov. (Rhigonematidae: Nematoda) is described from the posterior intestine of a sphaeroteroid (Glomerida) diplopod from Madagascar. Xustrostoma resembles Rhigomena in that the anterior end of the esophagus has a jawlike apparatus consisting of 1 dorsal and 2 subventral cuticular pieces. In Rhigonema the 3 pieces are similar and have irregular knoblike and toothlike excrescences on their luminal surfaces; the oral opening is subtriangular. In Xustrostoma the dorsal piece differs from and projects further anteriorly than the subventral pieces; the subventral pieces are similar and asymmetrical. Luminal surfaces of the 3 pieces bear many rows of tiny spines; the oral opening is dorsoventrally elongate. The Shaeroteroidea are tropical and subtropical members of the Glomerida, an order which differs fundamentally from other diplopod orders; this perhaps explains their unique rhigonematid fauna.
