A RAMAN-STUDY OF BI-4(GEXSI1-X)(3)O-12 CRYSTALS

摘要
The Raman spectra of Bi4Ge3O12 and Bi4Si3O12 monocrystals grown by the Czochralski method and of Bi-4(GeXSi1-X)(3)O-12 mixed crystals, obtained by devetrification of the 2Bi(2)O(3).3[(GeO2)(X)(SiO2)(1-X)] glasses, are reported: The vibrational structure at low frequencies is found to be nearly independent from the composition whereas at higher frequencies the vibrations may be attributed mainly to Ge-O and Si-O bonds in GeO4 and SiO4 tetrahedral units.
