摘要
We have experimentally measured the stored energy and the heat generated in diode-pumped Nd: YAG. The heat parameter χ, defined as the heat deposited per unit of stored energy, is found to be 1.1 in a 200 μs pump pulse, about one-third of the value of flashlamp-pumped Nd:YAG. Without fluorescence decay, the χ is 0.7. © 1990 IEEE
