摘要
A systematic study was conducted to test different substances capable of exerting a protective effect on the infectious titer of lyophilized 17D yellow fever vaccine subjected to a test of 37.degree. C. The effect of different concentrations and combinations of sugars, amino acids and mineral salts was tested and a thermal stabilizing mixture was selected that was capable of reducing the loss in titer of the vaccine after exposure to 37.degree. C over a 2 wk period to .apprx. 0.35 log10 plaque forming units.
