摘要
Rapid, accurate, analysis of the IgM concentration in crude fermentation culture fluids is essential to provide adequate support of new culture media and cell line development. Anion-exchange chromatography had a high selectivity for IgM, allowing it to be resolved from other culture additives. When the protein was quantitated using detection at 214 nm, the procedure was linear, reproducible, accurate, sensitive (to 10 mug/ml), and was unaffected by the tissue culture additives mentioned above.
