摘要
Low frequency light scattering of amorphous As//2S//3 under the high hydrostatic pressure up to 30 kbar is measured with the diamond anvil cell. It is found that the 'Boson peak' Raman scattering which has a peak near 20 cm** minus **1 is very sensitive to the hydrostatic pressure, and it is successfully analyzed by the theory of Martin and Brenig on the elastic continuum model with the correlation lengths for spatial fluctuation due to disorder and on the velocity of sound. From the measurement of the temperature dependence of the excess scattering damping constants for the relaxation processes are derived.
