In films of Au1-xFex, with 0.03<x≤0.07, mesoscopic noise data in the spin-glass regime show persistent dropletlike excitations whose rates have temperature dependences which lack the non-Arrhenius form expected for hierarchical models. Fixed-temperature scaling properties, however, do not fit droplet pictures. Macroscopic noise measurements resembled those for other conducting spin glasses, although cluster effects appeared for x>0.07 © 1995 The American Physical Society.
