摘要
The aim of this contribution is to estimate these times to support the design of aerosol studies or to interpret their results. The stabilization times of water solution droplets are well characterized by the life times of pure water droplets at the same temperature and relative humidity (RH). An exception is found for high salt concentrations in the droplet and a RH of the air near the RH of the saturated salt solution. The stabilization time for a dry salt or salt solution particle is characterized by the life time of a pure water droplet with the same initial diameter as the final diameter of the salt or salt solution particle at the same air temperature and RH.
