THE SPECTRUM OF NIF - ROTATIONAL ANALYSIS OF 4-DELTA-OMEGA=0 TRANSITIONS IN THE 500-580 NM SPECTRAL REGION

摘要
Four bands of the spectrum of NiF have been rotationally analyzed: 506.5. 521.5. 571.0, and 578.0 nm. Dispersed fluorescence experiments show that the first three transitions share a common upper electronic state. This is confirmed by the fitting procedure in which the experimental wave-numbers corresponding to the rotational lines of the three bands are simultaneously included. Laser experiments show that the upper state is not the 2Π state involved in the blue transitions of NiF. © 1993 Academic Press, Inc.
