摘要：

The use of arteriovenous fistulae in six patients on long-term haemodialysis is reported. The clinical and chemical results are comparable to those obtained with the Silastic-Teflon cannula. Results in 100 consecutive dialyses suggest that the performance of venepunctures could be satisfactorily delegated to the trained nursing staff. Complications encountered with the use of arteriovenous fistulae during haemodialysis are described. © 1968, British Medical Journal Publishing Group. All rights reserved.
