Internal Scrotal Temperature of Dairy Bulls as Determined by Telemetry

摘要
The internal scrotal temperature of 4 dairy bulls was measured by radio telemetry for periods of 4 to 24 hours during the first 6 days after surgery. Recordings on different days with different thermistors and under varying environmental temperatures changed little in either internal scrotal temperature or rectal-scrotal temperature differences within each bull. There was up to 2.8C difference in the internal scrotal temperature among the 4 bulls.
