摘要
Triple-axis polarized inelastic neutron scattering experiments have been carried out on the amorphous ferromagnet Fe86B14 to separate the longitudinal fluctuations from the transverse (spin wave) excitations. The data suggest that longitudinal excitations exist not only in the vicinity of T(c), but substantially below the ordering temperature as well. The existence of these "hidden" excitations may well explain the "Invar anomaly".
