摘要：

This paper describes the introduction of decision analysis into comparing energy policy alternatives by members of an expert committee appointed by the Government of Finland. The committee was appointed in 1987 to study the societal and environmental effects and risks of different alternatives for energy production. This application illustrates how public policy making can be supported interactively through decision analysis.
