INVESTIGATION OF THE 5DJ LEVELS IN EUROPIUM (EU-3+) COMPOUNDS - FULL F6 CALCULATION

摘要
The parametric simulation of the 5DJ energy levels scheme of Eu3+ (4f6 configuration) is discrepant whatever the compound. Fifteen examples are quoted. It is shown that the configuration truncature is not responsible for the discrepancy between experimental and calculated levels. In any case, it is attenuated if the reduced matrix elements for the second- and fourth-order one-electron crystal field interaction are multiplied by a constant factor. A similar case is evoked, i.e. the discrepant 2H(2)frsol|11/2level of Nd3. © 1990.
