摘要：

Purpose - The purpose of this paper is to review the LibGuides website that hosts library user guides. Design/methodology/approach - This paper outlines the features and benefits of the LibGuides site, describes how it can be used as a web portal and peruses its hosted content. Findings - LibGuides is a good place to see how different libraries are incorporating Web 2.0 approaches into their library guides. Originality/value - The familiar library guide still can have a strong impact in the Web 2.0 environment and enhance a library's online presence.
