摘要
The solid charge transfer complexes of 1, 7-dihydroxynaphthalene with some nitroaromatic acceptors of stoichiometries 1:1 and 1:2 (D:A) were prepared. The formation of these complexes has been studied by diffuse reflectance, electron spin resonance spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Electrical conductivity data were also compiled which revealed that all complexes have semiconducting properties. A correlation between the activation energies of conduction with the electron affinities of the acceptors was observed, hence the conduction process was interpreted. The currentvoltage dependence was studied for some complexes and indicated an ohmic and a space charge limited conduction, in addition to polarization effects. © by R. Oldenbourg Verlag
