摘要
Endonuclease analysis of mitochondrial DNA from wild populations of Norwegian and Scottish Atlantic salmon has identified an HaeIII restriction fragment length polymorphism which is unique to the Norwegian fish tested. This genetic variant may have potential for use as a population marker for studies of genetic mixing of escaped farm salmon of Norwegian origin with wild populations in Scotland.
