摘要
Adsorption of CO on Rh(100) is characterized by a c(2 X 2) structure at low coverages followed by development of a compressed overlayer as uptake continues. Presence of an oxide layer on the rhodium surface is observed to inhibit development of the compressional state as well as increase the binding energy of the adsorbed CO. © 1990.
