摘要
Photothermal and photoacoustic detection of semiconductor photoelectrochemical interfaces can be utilized to yield information about the internal quantum and energy efficiencies of the photoelectrode electrochemical process. The theoretical foundations and progress in the experimental state-of-the-art in this field are reviewed. The importance of measurements in the characterization and/ or optimization of energy conversion efficiencies of photoelectrochemical cells, as well as their contribution to our understanding of energy transfer physics at the illuminated interface, will be discussed further. © 1990, The Japan Society for Analytical Chemistry.
