摘要
This paper reviews some popular simulation techniques for designing and rating chillers. These techniques, the sequential modular approach and the simultaneous equation-solving approach, are retrieved from the literature on large-scale problems. It is shown that the simultaneous equation-solving technique is very useful for simulating centrifugal chillers. A computational algorithm that implements this technique is presented and it is shown that the algorithm yields fast and accurate chiller performance calculations.
