摘要
In order to be able to investigate polypyrrole as a conductive polymer matrix for biological sensors, we present here the electrochemical polymerization of pyrrole in the presence of biological buffers such as MES, PIPES, BES, MOPS, TES and HEPES. Probably because of the corresponding pK values, which are lower than 7.2, and of the very low nucleophilic reactivity, only MES, PIPES and BES can be used to prepare polypyrrole films. The rate of polypyrrole film growth and electrochemical properties indicated that PIPES is really the best compatible buffer to prepare polypyrrole films for bio-applications.
