LOW-ENERGY PROPERTIES OF BARYONS IN THE SKYRME MODEL

摘要
The low-energy observables of baryons are analysed within the framework of the topological soliton model. This article is a review of recent developments of Skyrme's original version of the model and their applications to the structure of the non-strange and strange baryons as well as to the interacting two-baryon system. The approach is, in spite of the simplicity of the dynamical model, able to provide a description of baryon structure at a quantitative accuracy of the order of 20-30%.
